Entrance to the Building and Accessible Route

Access for wheelchair users is via the building’s main entrance (Rua Arco do Cego, 50), through a dropped kerb. The pavement is smooth and wide. The building's doors are heavy and have no autonomous opening system.

Toilets

There is an adapted toilet in the building on the ground floor, next to the entrance to the auditoriums (on the left-hand side as you go in). The toilets have folding grab bars, a turning area and an alarm.

Parking

On the right-hand side of the Culturgest building, on Rua Brito Aranha, at the turn-off to the Caixa Geral de Depósitos headquarters, there is an outdoor car park with spaces for people with reduced mobility. The same goes for the Campo Pequeno underground car park (500 metres from the Culturgest entrance). Culturgest also has a drop-off zone at the entrance.

Ticket office

Tickets can be bought online or at Culturgest's local ticket office and usual points of sale. The local ticket office is on the ground floor, just like the main doors.

For the shows, there is a 50% discount policy for disabled, Deaf, and blind people, as well as for one companion. Admission to exhibitions is free for disabled people and one companion.

For more detailed information on the purchase process, booking tickets or any other clarification, please contact: 21 790 51 55 or culturgest.bilheteira@cgd.pt.

Service desks

There is an accessible counter at the main ticket office and bookshop. The other counters, namely the cafeteria, the ticket office next to the auditoriums, or the cloakroom counters are higher than desirable. The staff has been instructed to serve outside the counter, if necessary.

Auditoriums

Access to the auditoriums is via an accessible lift and there are no obstacles in the way. Nevertheless, the access ramp to the Emílio Rui Vilar Auditorium is slightly steeper than expected. The Front of House team is available to help if needed.

In both the Emílio Rui Vilar Auditorium and the Small Auditorium there are seats reserved for people with reduced mobility.
