In its 14th edition, the Italian Film Festival debuts at Culturgest with sessions that include a diverse program, from films by new directors Italians even from renowned names, showing previews to classics, among fictions and documentaries, including some side events that bring the culture of Italy to Portugal.

Organized by the Il Sorpasso Association every year, the festival presents more than 50 films divided into several sections. This includes a competition dedicated to first and second works, a set of previews of films presented at various international festivals, films that are more experimental or with a new cinematographic language, not forgetting retrospectives and tributes to great authors of Italian cinema.
