Throughout the month of April, the Italian Film Festival will pay tribute to filmmaker, playwright and author Pier Paolo Pasolini to mark the centenary of his birth. The festival will present a retrospective of his entire film catalogue together with Cinemateca Portuguesa – Museu do Cinema. Culturgest will be celebrating the occasion with the show Orgia | Pasolini (Orgy | Pasolini), by Nuno M Cardoso, and the conference Para Um Teatro da Palavra (For a Theatre of the Word), and will be taking part in the Italian Film Festival by screening a selection of documentaries about the artist’s life and work.
