After more than 40 years of career, Bill Frisell transformed his music and biography into an extensive list of accolades and awards, leaving behind the gravitas of his importance in contemporary jazz. But some of the praise also comes from his notoriety in areas adjacent to jazz, as well as his elegant compositions. Qualities that helped him redefine his own version of American identity music, going to the roots of jazz and matrix folk to create his own language on the possibilities of North American jazz. In recent years, under the  the prestigious label Blue Note, Frisell has given vent to his creativity, offering us new dialogues and collaborations. This trio with Morgan and Royston is one of his recent projects that demonstrates how everything seems to work out in his compositions and in his understanding with other musicians.
