The 22nd edition of the IndieLisboa international film festival returns to the city's main cinemas, for 11 uninterrupted days of cinema, showing the latest national and international premieres. An eclectic festival with over 250 films, for all kinds of tastes.

IndieLisboa is a generalist festival that values diversity, and invites the celebration of cinema inside and outside conventional theaters. For this edition, the nightly programming of IndieByNight, the pool cinema, the late-night movie marathon, the surprise film, and IndieDate will return.

In 2025, part of the Rizoma section - which reflects renowned filmmakers and current issues for the general public - IndieLisboa premieres a French-Belgian queer musical comedy, Les Reines du drame, by Alexis Langlois. Other new features include: the premiere of the psychological horror film El llanto, directed by Pedro Martín-Calero, inserted  in Boca do Inferno, the section that showcases the latest premieres of horror cinema and cult films.

IndieLisboa is a huge celebration of the meeting between cinema and the public. Be part of the party  from May 1st to May 11th 2025.
