CURATOR CUMPLICIDADES FESTIVAL 2020: ANDRÉ GUEDES

In An Afternoon in the World, Culturgest shows the proposals of three artists who recurrently, or strictly, use performance as the artistic support of their body of work.

Sequências Narrativas Completas is a lecture-performance by the artist João Sousa Cardoso, based on the book with the same name by the writer and painter Álvaro Lapa. The show is the blend of the dramatised text, an internal monologue, a diary-based report and an essay on the intimate and public life of the Portuguese, in their pursuit of revolution and democracy. With Álvaro Lapa having been the teacher of Joao Sousa Cardoso, Sequências Narrativas Completasis, above all, the updating of a conversation between the former student and the old master.
