Keeley Forsyth
Keeley Forsyth
After a recognised and successful career as a British independent TV and film actress, Keeley Forsyth rediscovered an old passion in music, allowing her to reap the freedom she sought. And as these worlds talk to each other in her head, and her body manifests this dialogue like a tremulous dance, using the dramatic tools of acting, as well as dance experience, to inform and shape his songs, creating unique and vibrant spectacles. That's why on stage, the performances expel their vital force, transporting us to a world threatened by darkness, loss, or emotional turmoil, where a white light emerges like a piercing knife that decides everything, creating shadows that stimulate our imagination. Usually compared to Nico, Diamanda Galás, or Scott Walker, thanks to the gravity and rawness of her songs and voice, Keeley Forsyth created in a few years and in just three albums, a unique and revered status, leaving a trail of emotional praise from an audience passionate about her intense live performances. Because rarely, very rarely, music like this finds its perfect staging on stage.
The concert will also be presented at Theatro Circo, in Braga, on 29 MAR and at Tremor, at Teatro Micaelense, on 9 APR.
