A high comedy from our affinity with Agustina Bessa-Luís and her books Concertos dos Flamengos (1993), Antes do Degelo (2004), and Crónica do Cruzado Osb. (1976). Three powerful scripts to talk about some details of Portuguese women and the world, and of femininity as a figure that permeates and disturbs the cultural, political and sexual fabric - that without defining itself lives in that and of that undefined state.  

Agustina Bessa-Luís' poetic writing in perforative layers allows us to think the scene from cumulative perspectives: political, the female voice in the polis; domestic, the gesture that conforms and its reason for being and living; affective, the symptom of an existence; banal, the touch it leaves in the world; traumatic, the conflict between conformity and destiny; feminine, the representation of the figure; soft, the mockery of the word...Perhaps most relevant is our passion for her writing and the inescapable particularity of her language being ours.  

This work is part of the celebration of the centenary of Agustina's birth.
