IndieLisboa premieres John Parish's film-concert Screenplay in Portugal, at the Hard Club in Porto, on May 3rd, and in Lisbon at Culturgest, on May 4th. Parish has composed for film, theatre and contemporary dance since the late 1990s, winning a number of awards for his film music. He is a regular collaborator with PJ Harvey, but has also worked with Eels, Giant Sand, Rokia Traoré and Aldous Harding, among others. The concert presents Parish with musicians Marta Collica, Giorgia Poli, Jean-Marc Butty and Jeremy Hogg, as well as excerpts from films, some of which are historically linked with IndieLisboa.
