Throughout the month of April 2022, in partnership with the Italian Film Festival, Culturgest will be hosting a series of debates dedicated to writer, playwright and filmmaker Pier Paolo Pasolini, and the opening of Orgia (Orgy), a play by this author, directed by Nuno M. Cardoso. This gathering will be an opportunity to focus precisely on the theatrical dimension of Pasolini’s work, using the play being staged at Culturgest as a starting point and bringing together three people from the theatre who, having previously taken part in plays by this author, have delved deeply into his work.

Joining us will be Beatriz Batarda, one of the actresses cast in Orgia; João Grosso, resident actor at the D. Maria II National Theatre, director and higher education professor in the field of arts; and Nuno M. Cardoso, director.
